Hotwire Hotel: Time Square Aug 19-21

Can you please help me with your best guess of the following HOTWIRE hotels results?  I'm trying to avoid the Paramount and Edison.  After reading reviews it sounds like they still have rooms that need to be renovated and reviews are not good unless you get the newer rooms.  I've read references to old, tired hotel....  The 3.5 star sounds like it is in a better location.  Thank you for your help.  I plan to use the HOTWIRE link on this site but do not know how to post the link to this email.?. I think I've narrowed them down to four possible choices but would love to hear your opionion.

I'd guess the first listing would be a possible match for the Washington Jefferson, while the second would be a possible match for the Belvedere.

 

Is the Times Square area the only area of interest? Other midtown areas (such as MTE) are convenient, cheaper and less hectic.
