Hotwire Hotel: 4* Victoria (Downtown) Hotel Grand Pacific

Feel a little duped as the Hotwire listing had "Boutique" in the descriptor so I assumed it was the (as listed in BB) Magnolia (#3 tripadvisor) when it was the Grand Pacific (#14 tripadvisor). Better bidding should try to update that for others.

 

Amenities listed: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique Hotel, Indoor pool, smoke free rooms, fitness center, pool(s), restaurant(s), business center, Internet access, Spa services.

We update the hotel lists as soon as we got a report of a change that has been made.

 

I believe there were likely more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

For future searches/bookings you can do the following to ensure you're seeing the complete list:
1) use the EASY VIEW tab of our Bidding.Helper and click the green 'See All Amenities' button
OR
2) search HOT.WIRE (or use the HOT.WIRE tab at Bidding.Helper) and...

· click the offer
·  on the next page click the BOOK NOW link
·  in the TRIP SUMMARY box click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenities

PS. Please post to the board in USD. Just change the drop down menu on the top right of HOT.WIRE page to United States and the currency dropdown to US Dollars. Then continue to search HOT.WIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Once you're ready to purchase stay on the US version of their site and simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase.

I'll add to the above that when trying to ID hotels you need to try to match all the amenities (not just one)... since the Magnoilia has previously been reported win a Complimentary Breakfast amenity, and that is not listed for the property above, that could have been one clue that perhaps you were seeing a different property.

Feel free to ask for help/confirmation of what you think you may be seeing before your next 'opaque' purchase.

Although not the hotel you were expecting, this hotel does get good views (4.5/5.0 TA rating) so hopefully should still provide a very nice experience.
