iced!tea
Help - Thinking about booking this deal for my girlfriends birthday, but don't want to stay at Trump! 5* - North Area Strip Hotel - Linked to it from this site. 90% recommend - 5* - cut from $241 (what Encore is priced at, and the hotel I want)$109/night Free ParkingFree InternetSpa ServicesResortPet FriendlySmoke Free RoomsFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s) It does say...."Book soon! The last person got the Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas", is there truth to this? I do NOT want to stay at Trump. Please help if anyone can, I can't identify between the two. Both 5*, both 4.5 trip advisor rating. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! The "Last person got ___" info is relative to the last purchase at this star rating in the zone... not the specific hotel offered. For this HOTWIRE offer, I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method this is the full list of amenities i'm seeing associated with this property: Free Parking Free Internet Spa Resort Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Kitchenette ... if this is what you're seeing my guess for this one would indeed be The Trump. If you're looking to avoid the Trump, you would want to use HOTWIRE and/or PL Expres and choose an offer that shows a Casino amenity (since the Trump does not have a casino, you can 'safely' purchase a property with a casino amenity and know that you won't receive the Trump) There are 5* hotels offered for your dates for not much more than the one above, what is your maximum budget per nite for this stay? Is there a specific hotel you are hoping for? Are you only interested in the Strip North zone OR is the Strip South zone acceptable as well? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know how the information above and we'll try to assist further. iced!tea
I would love the Wynn or Encore. I would also take Venetian/Palazzo as a close second....Mandarin would be intriguing. I would really like to stay under $175/night (total $350 after fees and such) if I can! Link to comment
thereuare
For the Wynn, Encore, Venetian, or Palazzo you're looking at $343 all-in plus the resort fee payable at the hotel. Is this worth it to you for this trip for what is most likely one of these hotels? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. iced!tea
Definitely worth it to know it is one of those. Link to comment
thereuare
PRICELINE EXPRESS has a 5* hotel for $147/nite with: Outdoor Pool Free Parking Restaurant Business Center Casino Fitness Center ... my guess here would be the Venetian with a chance of the Wynn, Encore, or Palazzo HOTWIRE has this 5* hotel in the Strip North zone for $142 (this and the one above are almost identical in price after the fees/taxes) with: Free Parking Free Internet Resort Suite Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... best guess here would be the Venetian (again, with a chance of the other three) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. iced!tea
Thanks for the great help!! Question though: second one says "golf"....would venetian fall under that? I didn't think venetian/palazzo would have golf, where I know encore/wynn have a course. Would that be accurate?? Link to comment
thereuare
The 'full' amenity name is 'Golf Nearby' so just about any of the Vegas Strip properties could claim this amenity... it doesn't necessarily indicate that the golf course is on-site. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
Mikeyesq
As long as you get 5 Star North with a casino. You will most likely get one of the 4 you want. However, we've gotten Venetian and Palazzo more often than Wynn/Encore. Link to comment
