Please follow-up your previous Priceline South Beach thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip. Ideally all threads on the board should have a 'conclusion' as it helps keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone.

For the property above, I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?

Posting what you did do for the stay (even if you canceled the trip, didn't use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, booked direct, etc) would be more complete and helpful to other users. ;)

A new amenity set for the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino would be my best guess for this one.

No. Specifically looking for Condado Plaza.

 

Already have a junior suite booked directly with the hotel for $149/night (booked in March).

 

But, I now need an additional room.

Prefer a suite. Rate is refundable.

 

Booking 2 rooms at another hotel would be an option, if it is 4* in the Condado area with an oceanfront view (hotel, not necessarily the room).

 

I still have some time, I will keep looking. And post my final decision.

Have you been to and/or familiar with San Juan... as most of the beach of the Condado properties are small and/or man-made; the Isla Verde section has the 'real' beach in San Juan and i would sooner look there (or at least be open to that area as well) if you're looking for beach and/or water related activities/views.

PS- you can also search our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com and zoom in on the map to see the hotels that are on the beach/along the coast. The interface makes it easy to find a hotel near a specific location as well as identify how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating or to stay closer/further from your ideal location.

Yes, I've traveled to San Juan before and am familiar with the area. Not planning water activities, just like the view of the water

So, I monitored the rate at Condado Plaza and last week the price went down to $129 per night with a $50 daily resort credit so i booked direct.
