kirikara
Could it be the James Hotel?? Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Please list all amenities, including accessible amenities. Thanks. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
condoleeza
I went onto the bidding helper. There is not a property at the same price but perhaps this is the same one: Magnificent Mile Area - River North - 4.5* $167 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Spa Services, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower Link to comment
AaronJB
That amenity set would be a likely match for the James. I'm seeing a 4.5* in the Downtown-Millennium Park-Grant Park area for $113 (the price you see may vary slightly) w/:Indoor pool(s)Smoke Free RoomsFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterInternet accessTennis NearbyI'd consider taking this and saving the 50 bucks or so per night (which could go towards a nice meal somewhere) over the potential James. You mentioned an interest in another user's thread regarding the 5* showing for that user. Unfortunately, that listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but the $113 listing above is a really reasonable offer in comparison to what else is available for these dates - and if you're not going to be in the room that often, a 4.5* for $113 is savings vs other options that can be put towards a lot of other things in the city. condoleeza
Comes up as a HOT RATE hotel in Hot.wire $165 for Aug 20 - 23 95% recommended TripAdvisor 4.5/5 All of the following are a 4.5 Overall satisfaction Condition of hotel Quality of service Room comfort Room cleanliness Location of hotel Amenities: Free Breakfast Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness Center Business Center Spa Services Accessibility Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility I can't find the equivalent on the BiddingHelper.com - it is the free breakfast that is stumping me. Seems like a good rate for including breakfast. Ideas on the hotel name? Link to comment
AaronJB
Please keep all discussion of this stay within this thread - thanks. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? I'm seeing:Free BreakfastFree InternetPet friendlyFitness CenterBusiness CenterInternet accessSpa ServicesAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroomRoll-in showerIf you are also seeing the above, this would likely be the Kinzie. That said, I'm still seeing the potential Swiss (as noted above) for $115. You could stay there and use the savings for breakfast elsewhere (breakfast is not going to be hugely expensive at many places downtown) or go with the potential Kinzie above, which is in a great location and offers breakfast.
