danielleb10291
Found on Hot.wire for dates December 19, 2014 to December 23, 2014 Slopeside, Pet friendly, Indoor Pool(s), Smoke Free Rooms, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self-Service Laundry and Internet Access. Four star rated with a 4/5 tripadvisor rating and 100% positive hotwire rating $169 per night on Hotwire, but described as a $401+ "regular cost" I looked at tripadvisor and the list of hotels HOTWIRE works with, so it must be one of these, but I'm really not sure which one at all. I originally thought the Westin, but that is described as a 5 star on the website of the hotels hotwire works with. What's confusing me is the 21+ requirement on Hot.wire, usually they're right about whether a hotel requires age 18 or 21 to check in, but I didn't see any of the slopeside hotels that were 21+. Thanks! Link to comment
AaronJB
I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. ]If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? danielleb10291
Yes, you're right! Sorry, didn't know this. On the website you linked, it lists the amenities for this hotel as Pet friendly, Slopeside, Indoor pool(s), Smoke Free Rooms, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Spa Services, Accessible for the blind, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower. So that limits it down to Lodge de la Montagne, Ermitage du Lac (unlikely, this one has a 4.5/5 reviewer rating on tripadvisor), or Sommet des Neiges (also unlikely for the 4.5/5 rating)...I believe all the other ones on the website that shows Hotwire's partners are not possible because they either have an accessibility not listed or lack ones listed. Do you think I am right that it is probably the Lodge de la Montagne? It could also, although less likely, be the Westin which was what I wanted. The only things making me think otherwise are that it's described as a 5 star on their partner site, and has an additional amenity (hearing accessibility) that wasn't listed..so is this super unlikely? thereuare
I don't believe this property is the Westin (is this property even 'Slopeside' as described by the amenity list above)... my best guess for this one would be the Fairmont Tremblant. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.... or the links in our Support Page if you decided to book direct, where we have links to most of the major hotel chains and online booking agencies, including the WESTIN. danielleb10291
It now tells me that the last person who booked got the "Chateau Beauvallon"...this seems unlikely for these dates, because this hotel is not slopeside like the Westin and Fairmont are. Or, is it possible that Hotwire is mistaken about the amenities? Link to comment
AaronJB
The "last person got" messages show the last hotel that someone bought at that star rating in that zone in general, it's not necessarily the underlying hotel and not a reliable indicator. danielleb10291
I ended up booking the Westin directly as this was the hotel I definitely wanted, so I'm not sure what the hotwire offering is. I would've gone for it had Tremblant not been offering a 35% off deal (if you book 3+ nights, 30% off for 2 nights, and 25% off for 1) if the room is booked before September 23. The offer is for all of the properties booked through their website. Link to comment
