Welcome to BetterBidding!

You can see all hotels reported to the board in our Priceline Hotel List.

I think you have a shot at a 4* hotel in Chelsea or Soho at or near your $250 limit... did you want to only include these two zone up to your limit (then if rejected add LES and/or Union Square) OR is the goal the least expensive 4* or better in any of these four zones?

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know the above and we will advise accordingly.

Thanks so much! I took a look at the hotels list, that was very helpful.

My first choice is Soho, then Chelsea, Union square, and LES in that order. So whatever the best bidding strategy is!

I'm happy to pay $250/night and am more interested in getting the nicest option available than trying to come in far under that mark. To be honest I would go to $275 in my first two choices.

When bidding 4* in NYC you have ONE re-bid zone. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Bid $250

If the above is rejected i will point out that PRICELINE EXPRESS has a 4* hotel in the Chelsea zone for $267/nite, but using the discount link and code in my signature brings this down to $254/nite and you can go with this option (shows Restaurant and Business amenities)

Since you mention you're looking for a 'nice' hotel, I will also point out that HOTWIRE has a 4* hotel in the ESB zone for $235/nite, which although not one of the zones you listed above, is fairly close to where you're looking to stay. This property has an excellent 4.5/5.0 TA rating and i suspect this property may be the Affinia Dumont, which gets excellent reviews, and would be a bit lower than what you would be paying above for should those bids be rejected (if this is acceptable we can adjust the bidding strategy above to only go up to $235/nite, and if rejected you can then take the ESB HOTWIRE offer, which has amenities of: Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Spa, Pet Friendly).

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know your thoughts and how it goes, or if you have any questions regarding any of the above.
