Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Boston (Burlington - Woburn) Doubletree Hotel Boston/Bedford Glen

95% recommended, free parking, internet access, indoor pool, Fitness Center, Business Center, etc.

 

Hotel location: Doubletree Boston/Bedford Glen Hotel, 44 Middlesex Turnpike, Bedford, MA 01730 

 

Showed a regular price of $120 on hotmail, but hotel shows price as $109/nt.  Earlier this morning I was showing a "secret hot rate" of $68, but got an error getting it.  Retried after lunch, came in at $70.  I wanted to stay a couple more days, but price jumped to over $100/day.  I will try "add to your stay" later.

 

Note, I did not try this area with priceline, but did try other areas about equal distance from Boston, e.g. Waltham and Newton/Needham from $70 to $85 for 3.5* and had no luck.  I thought I might get the 4* Waltham Westin, as they have a special for $89/nt Thursday to Sunday.  But the rooms were sold out this weekend for $89, but they had rooms for $99/nt.  Was tempted, but I hate to pay to park.

Here is the full list of amenities I see: Free Parking, Indoor pool(s), Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Tennis Nearby.

 

Note: When I checked in, they told me the internet was free, it is, (on it right now).  The "tennis nearby" is just across the parking lot, clearly visible from my window.

I believe there were likely more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

For future searches/bookings you can do the following to ensure you're seeing the complete list:

1) use the EASY VIEW tab of our Bidding.Helper and click the green 'See All Amenities' button

OR

2) search HOT.WIRE (or use the HOT.WIRE tab at Bidding.Helper) and...

· click the offer

· on the next page click the BOOK NOW link

· in the TRIP SUMMARY box click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenities
