BayArea1227
I got this bid on my 11th try. I first checked the PRICELINE website and saw how much the prices were for the area and star rating for certain hotels. I also checked the Express Deal through Priceline for a 4 star in the Newport - Huntington Beach area and saw that the price was $130/night. Started at 4* with Newport - Huntington Beach at $82 - Rejected Added Anaheim Hills (Re-Bid Zone) at $84 - Rejected Added Angels Stadium Anaheim (Re-Bid Zone) at $86 - Rejected Added Buena Park - Knott's Berry Farm (Re-Bid Zone) at $88 - Rejected Added Cerritos - La Mirada (Re-Bid Zone) at $90 - Rejected Added Cypress (Re-Bid Zone) at $92 - Rejected Added Dana Point - San Juan Capistrano (Re-Bid Zone) at $94 - Rejected Added Fullerton - Brea (Re-Bid Zone) at $95 - Rejected Added Irvine - Santa Ana (Re-Bid Zone) at $97 - Rejected Added Irvine Spectrum - Laguna Hills (Re-Bid Zone) at $98 - Rejected Added Lake Forest - Mission Viejo (Re-Bid Zone) at $100 - Accepted :D :D I used the PRICELINE link provided on top of the BetterBidding board. Fairmont Newport Beach 4500 MacArthur Boulevard Newport Beach, California 92660 Check-In - Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 04:00 PM Check-Out - Sunday, June 15, 2014 at 12:00 PM Offer Price: Avg. per room, per night $100.00 Number of Rooms: 1 room / 1 night Room Subtotal: $100.00 Taxes & Fees: $21.69 Total Charges: $121.69 There may be a mandatory fee attached to this stay upon check-in at the hotel, however the rate was better than the listing price and the priceline.Express Deal on Price.line. Overall I'm happy with my BID! Link to comment
