If so, I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you also see an INTERNET ACCESS amenity listed in addition to the Free Internet already listed above?

If so, my best guess for this one would be the Hotel Auteuil Tour Eiffel.

Yes, it is the same trip.  The internet access amenity did show up on biddinghelper.  Thanks for identifying this location.  We are still looking, and would like something near Saint Germain or Opera Garnier area for 250 and 4*, free internet (dreaming?).

You have a 4* on HOTWIRE priced $242 in the Opera Garnier zone. It looks like the Cosys Residence Cadet. They have free internet.

Looking at their bed configurations; studio or apartment; what is most likelihood that I'll get the apartment?  I'm traveling with a 13yrs old, and according to their website that is an adult.  With this in mind, I've changed the search criteria on Hot.wire to 3 adults and the price went up to $341.  With a studio I would need to add an extra bed at 30 euro per night according to their website.  Or would this guarantee by Hot.wire if a studio is given, an xtra bed is included.  Please advise.

I can't say if you'll get an studio or apartment. But you don't have to pay anything extra. You're booking the hotel trough HOTWIRE and HOTWIRE guarantees sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search... this often means two beds in the room, but the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway brought into the room, etc.

Since booking thru HOTWIRE i would list your child as a child (and not an adult) since that is the category your child falls into as per HOTWIRE's terms... you don't know for certain which hotel you will receive, so you should search/purchase according to HOTWIRE's terms.

With the above noted, i would call the hotel you win afterwards to ensure you are assigned a room that can include triple occupancy (or however many you included in your search) so that if there are any issues you can resolve them well in advance of your arrival.

Not certain of this one.... the Hotel Magenta Hotel Paris Bastille, and Hotel Terminus Lyon would be my best guesses for this one.

Used Bidding Helper tool on site.  Read that hotel went through a renovation this year and hope that it will be nice.  Thanks for all the help.

BEWARE!  During checkout the receptionist told us we owe 90euros in city tax.  I told her the I've booked thru Hot.wire and taxes and fees are included.  She said the booking did not include the city tax, and it was "nurmal, everybody pays this tax in Paris".  I told her that I will not pay tax that was not disclosed at booking, and if she and the management got a problem  take it up with Hot.wire.  After several minutes of back and forth, she decided to not charge us and we can go.

Property is still under construction, close to Republique not Bastille.  Clean room, unfriendly staff.

Sorry to hear you had a billing issue upon check-out but glad to managed to have it resolved.
