Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. I'd be VERY concerned about a 2.5/5 tripadvisor rating, which is a low rating for tripadvisor - especially for a long stay. The America's Best Value Inn would be a guess, but this could certainly be something else, as well.

What are you looking for in terms of budget/acceptable zone/s?

Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Hey guys, first off, thanks for the quick replies!

AaronJB, what does "concerend" mean? That I'm probably not going to find a mint on my pillow after housekeeping or that I'm going to get kidnapped? xD

What I'm looking for is something along the lines of:

- Not super dirty

(Since I'm staying for a month, I'm even willing to trade a lower price for the occasional cockroach but I'd draw the line at bedbugs. If that makes sense?)

- Not too far away from Central LA and Hollywood

(I'm not going to have a car so I just can't handle an hour-long commute every day)

- Relatively safe

(Not asking for too much, I'm a guy after all and I can handle myself)

- Price: $50-$70 a night?

....what does "concerend" mean?

You're buying an 'unknown' hotel, so what is 'wrong' with this hotel (based upon the 2.5/5.0 TA rating) could be just about anything... it may perfectly meet your needs for just a bed to sleep in for the nite OR it could be a place that you loath returning to each nite and wish you spent a little more.

The Americas Best Value Inn (1123 W 7th St) seems to have all the amenities listed above and is 2.5/5.0 rated by TA... maybe this is the hotel offered by HOTWIRE? (see reviews here)

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite(s) of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

Keep in mind that the property above may not be the one offered once you decide to move forward with a purchase (so please wait until your plans are firm and you're ready to commit to a hotel before asking for IDs)

Keep us updated on your progress and let us know if/how we can be of further help along the way.
