AaronJB
When bidding on PRICELINE you have to be willing to accept any possible hotel at the star rating you chose. Each section of the board offers a listing (such as the Priceline Hotel List Florida) of the hotels that have been reported to the board. I'd guess the Renaissance would be a definite possibility for the Express Deals listing. Let us know what you decide or how we can be help further. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
travel123
Thanks for the advice. I have tried to bid from $90 to $110 for a 4* in the area without success :( As with those possible extra Mandatory Hotel Fee, two Price.line staff gave me different versions if it would be shown on the bullet of points before submitting bids on "Name Your Own Price". One said yes it would, the other said no and it would be disclosed after winning the bid if there is any. Sounds like we better factor it in on our bid to avoid any surprise of extra costs incurred. Correct me if someone misunderstands. Link to comment
thereuare
When bidding on PRICELINE any resort fees are not shown (since you're not bidding on a specific hotel and therefore it is not yet known at the time you place your bid if the hotel you win will have a resort fee or not) With PRICELINE EXPRESS the resort fee is usually shown in the summary of charges (i say usually since it's a newer feature so there may be a few hotels that do not yet show this information) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
