I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see also see an INTERNET ACCESS amenity listed (in addition to the Free Internet already listed)?

If so, this property has not yet been reported to the board, but the Aparthotel Atenea Calabria, Hotel Exe AB Viladomat, and Astoria Hotel Barcelona all would seem to be among the possibilities, and there could be others too.

What do you think? Is it a good deal for a hotel in Barcelona? Hotel is so expensive there!

 

I have been trying on Price.line as well, but unsuccessfully - my high bid was a $ 170 for a 5 stars rating and $ 130 for 4 stars rating, both yesterday.

They're not the same, the BiddingHelper.com also shows INTERNET ACCESS (in addition to the Free Internet already listed)

Given your rejected bids this would seem like a decent deal. It may not be the best 4* hotel in Barcelona (and possibly be more like a 3.5* hotel), but i'd be buying into the 95% recommendation and 4.0/5.0 TA rating.

If you want to make less of a commitment, you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

What zone is this property located in as I'm not currently seeing any 5* hotel offered in any zone when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

With only one amenity (and a common one at that) showing for this property i don't have any insight as to which one this may be... the Tryp Atocha certainly fits and would be at least one possibility, but there are a few dozen 4* rated hotels in this zone that i'm sure there are other possible matches as well.

Hi traveling to Barcelona on 9/17/14 to 9/21/14 saw this hotel

4.5 Star $130 per night.

In L'eixmple - passeig de' gracia area.

100% thumbs up

Free wifi

No smoking

Gym

Printer

And this one I don't know what it is but it's a building with 2 signs on it's side. I'm assuming a train station.
