Hotwire Hotel: Help ID 4* Austin downtown town lake

Hi, I'm looking for help determining the 4 star hotel for Austin, downtown/town lake, I'd be fine with any hotel besides the AT&T, since I want to be within close walking distance to 6th st.

Details from the quick quote are:

Feb 7-feb9

3rooms, 9 guests

$152 a night for 4*

Pet friendly

Indoor pool

Smoke free

Fitness

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business center

Self service laundry

High speed internet

It came out to $120 a night for 1room 2 guests.

It is the ATT center most likely. I booked 1/25-26 through hotwire for $155 and it ended up being the ATT center.

This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but seems to be a new amenity set that jokertone got with the AT & T. We are waiting for a confirmation of the amenities that were shown before their hotwire hotel purchase..

Doesn't this listing guarantee an indoor pool, which AT&T center doesn't have?

I believe this is a different property than jokertone had purchased... i'm not certain of this property as there are a lot of hotels in this area that have these amenities, but my guess for this one would be the Sheraton, upgraded from the last time it was reported to the board.

Thanks for you're replies, since location is the most important thing to us on this trip, and the downtown region on Hotwire is so large, I'd rather not chance it. I booked a refundable room at the hilton downtown for the time being, and will continue monitoring hotwire and the boards to see if anything changes.

Thank you for keeping us updated - additionally, what you may want to try is searching for 2 adults and 2 children (even if there isn't two children) as that sometimes results in different listings than if you just search for 2 adults.

I booked a refundable room at the hilton downtown...

My girlfriend just booked this hotel using HOTWIRE and it was the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol. They just did a multi-million dollar renovation according to their website. Hope this helps someone with future bookings!
