The Westin Bonaventure is usually the 4-star downtown LA hotel with a "90% Recommended" rating. To find this gem, sometimes you need to reduce the term of your stay to one or two nights.

I just booked two nights, one night at a time for $132 and $140 respectively by adding to the purchase after checkout. It did not allow me more than one extra night.
