3 persons - 1 room

Hello,

I know that priceline only guarantees a room for 2 people. But what if we would like to all stay in just one room, assuming we don't care if one of us sleeps on the floor. What's the hotels general policy for that?

(going to LA, SF, VEGAS in april)

Thanks

It's hotel specific so it depends upon the hotel that you received.

In terms of 'what could go wrong'... in San Francisco there are some hotels where more than double occupancy may violate fire code, and in Vegas many hotels are now charging for more than double occupancy in the room (so if they are aware that you're more than two may want to charge your an additional fee).

If you're willing to take the risk then PRICELINE or PRICELINE EXPRESS are worth a shot (the latter a bid more of a safer option if you choose a hotel that offers the 'Bed Choice' option and choose a room type with two beds)... if you're not willing to take the risk you can still use HOTWIRE and search for triple/quad occupancy which guarantees you sleeping accommodations for as many people you include in your search (this usually/often means two beds although the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed or rollaway brought into the room)

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know how you'd like to proceed or if we can be of further help.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
