AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. As one of the trade-offs of the discounted rate, PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy/one bed. It is up to the hotel whether or not to offer you a room with two beds - some may say yes with no problem, some may charge more and some may say no. There is no guarantee, and it may depend on the day or who you talk to. HOTWIRE is somewhat more expensive, but if you indicate more than 2 people in the room (if you are two adults, list 2a/2c, even if there isn't 2c) that should ensure bedding for the entire party (although the specifics are still not guaranteed - it can be 1 + sofa, 1 + rollaway or two beds.) Neither service lets you pick a specific room (HOTWIRE sometimes does, although it's pretty infrequent that a listing has a "room choice" option.)If you need assistance with your stay, please let us know which path you'd be more interested in and the details of your stay (desired budget, star rating, date/s, zones and any other information.)Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. thereuare
I'll also add to the above that many of the PRICELINE EXPRESS deals (which is similar to HOTWIRE's product) are now showing 'Bed Choice Available' so i would have a look there as well. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
