thereuare
Also: I would like more than 2 double beds (couple+2kids)... How can I get a sleeping sofa or an extra bed ?Are you including 2adults/2children on your HOTWIRE search... or only 2adults?If currently only searching for 2adults, does this same property (and price) appear when searching for 2adults/2children?Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thereuare
The amenities for each of the searches above are the same and i believe they are the same hotel. HOTWIRE may deal with 10 different brands at the 3* level and shows 5 chosen at random in the 'Our 3* hotel suppliers include...', i would not a change here as any indication of a different property then the previous HOTWIRE offer for the same amenity set.To ensure sleeping accommodations for four people you would want to search/purchase as 2adults/2children... this should provide you with 2 beds (although the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway brought into the room, etc)My guess for the HOTWIRE hotel described above would be the Hyatt Place Miami Airport West/Doral.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. AaronJB
Was this a Hot.wire listing? If so, can you confirm star rating and the amenities that were showing with this listing before purchase? This information is available under the trip information in your Hot.wire account (click "My Account" in the upper corner of Hot.wire.) Hope you enjoyed your stay. Link to comment
DanyG
Hi, The Amenities shown were : Free Parking Free Internet Fitness Center Internet access Accessibility Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower PS: as our flight from Brazil arrived in miami at 5am, and we had our reservation made for the day before checkin at 3pm. I just wanted the hotel to sleep for a couple of hours... We had a lot of trouble when we arrived at the hotel. The reservation had been cancelled for a no-show reason. I had to beg for the room I have payed through Hotwire. They said I should have told them of the late arrival... Link to comment
thereuare
Thanks for the additional follow-up. Although it doesn't seem intuitive/necessary to let the hotel know if you'll be arriving late on a pre-paid reservation, it's always a good idea to let them know anytime you'll be arriving after midnite (or even earlier if you're traveling during an unusually busy time and expect the hotel to be sold-out or overbooked) After you were able to check-in i hope the rest of your stay went smoothly.
