Hotwire Hotel: 4* Napa - Sonoma (Sonoma) MacArthur Place Inn and Spa

I was reviewing the hotel list as I normally do before bidding. For Sonoma its straight forward and appears to list 2 possible hotels. For Napa it list 4 hotels but when I go to Priceline there are 2 zones for Napa.

Napa Downtown North and Napa Downtown South. All 3 zones have 4 stars. What zone do you recommend I start bidding in for convenience to most wineries ? Which zone has the 4 hotels we may win ? and how low of price should I start at? Checked Hotwire and noticed a 4 star in Sonoma going for 133 a night but only when no children selected, what gives? Looking for following dates: 11/18 - 11/23. Thanks for any help in advance.

With BEAV's help we have updated the Priceline Hotel List for the Napa area.

How many rooms/adults/children will you need for this stay?

Please use the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board each time you access the respective site(s), and click each of these previous links before replying.

Thanks.

Of course using the PRICELINE link :D

Started bidding in the Sonoma area and south Napa area

Started at 80 and worked my way up to 107 with no luck

My account also had bonus cash that brought the total to 111 still no win

I noticed HOTWIRE has 4 star in Sonoma for $133 a night. I'd book it with hotwire but when I add 1 child both 4 star hotels disappears, strange.

Any tips or bidding strategies ? How high should I go on PRICELINE ?

Since PRICELINE reservations are for double occupancy only, and you're apparently willing to take this risk by bidding on PRICELINE, why not take the same risk booking on HOTWIRE for double occupancy?

Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.

For anyone following along:

You can still use bonus money along with the board's link as follows:

1) click the bonus money link and enter your email to deposit the bonus cash into your account

2) close the current browser

3) use a link on the board to access PRICELINE

4) go to the MY PROFILE >> MY REWARDS link at the top right of their home page

5) use the bonus money link in the MY REWARDS section of your profile (not a link from an email) and bid as usual

Thank you.

Tried $115 on priceline for Nov.22-Nov23 for Sonoma 4* - No luck

I got one room in MacArthur Place Inn & Spa for $133. Now I need 2 more rooms there.

Can you please add your win to the board as a NEW TOPIC... please include the star rating, city, zone, hotel, room rate per nite, and dates of your stay. You can still view all of this information by going to PRICELINE and clicking the MY PROFILE link near the top right of their home page.

I went up to $121 with bonus cash that was in my account and got nothing

ended up booking via HOTWIRE
