First timers to LA) suits us best. Can anyone please advise a strategy for bidding? Thanks in advance, Link to comment

thereuare
Are you willing to pay more for a 5* hotel vs. a 4* OR is your goal the least expensive 4* or better for this stay? Also, while your bidding strategy is sound (but always double check your re-bid zones just before bidding) and you can certainly start with the bid prices above, based upon current rates i'd be surprised if you're successful at $110 or less... i think you'll more likely need to be in the $140-$160 area at this time. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. dmeyers
Well, ideally I would like 5* (although there aren't many to choose) but yes, looking to get the least expensive 4*, is there a better strategy? Link to comment
thereuare
When bidding 4* in this region you have FOUR re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Beverly Hills-West Hollywood and Hollywood...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110If the above is rejected, let us know if you'd like to increase your maximum bid and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
