Priceline Hotel: 3.5* San Diego (Gaslamp Quarter) The Declan Suites San Diego

I am getting ready to bid on a room for Downtown San Diego *4 for the dates 12/9-12/11

Just wanted any feedback for those dates in which people have been getting. I see a few but for dates far out.

I'm attending an event Downtown & always book via PRICELINE (via betterbidding.com) & always end up receiving The Manchester Hyatt.

Just hoping to get somewhere different. Also the only bummer I've found with all Downtown Hotels are you have to pay for parking $15&up.

Anyone experience something otherwise?

If you use the search box on the top right of the board, not the one with the orange search button, but the one below that with the green magnified glass, change the 'forums' dropdown to QUICK SEARCH and enter "San Diego Downtown" (without the quotes) in the search box and you'll see all related wins for this area. As well, you can also use the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins to see if anything has been won on/around your specific dates.

Also, if you're looking for something different and willing to pay a little more than PRICELINE usually charges, HOTWIRE may be an option if you're able to take a reasonable guess as to the hotel you're being offered (as well, the zones for this area are somewhat different between PRICELINE and HOTWIRE, so that may help you seek out something different)

Hi! Went to Hotwire and message came up as "We currently don't have results for the following area: Downtown South, Gaslamp Quarter South - Convention Center, Gaslamp Quarter North - Horton Plaza" Which of course is the area I need. So does this mean the area is sold out of the date I want? Also for some reason I cannot click on the Calender which I think would be great to see. Any hep?

At what point do you have an issue and what happens at that point... does the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins page load? If so, if you click a Star Date or End Date does a calendar pop-up for you to select from? If so, if you type "California" in the Forum Box does a list forum categories present itself? If so, and you click SUBMIT does a 2 week calendar appear OR is an error message given?

What browser are you using (at the top of your page click HELP >> ABOUT (browser name)

The original hotel was Sheraton Gaslamp/Harbor but has since changed to The Declan Suites in Gaslamp 3.5
