I'm interested in a similar bid, so I thought I'd give the suggested strategy below a try. When I bid $160, it came back with "I'm sorry we can't accept your Name-your-own-price, but during our search we found other hotels.." and then came back with the regular looking priceline hotel list, as if I weren't trying the NYOP one. So, I couldn't add a re-bid zone and up my bid. Any ideas?

When bidding 5* in Paris you have SIX re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.
(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)

Select 5* Champs Elysees-OQW...
Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone1...
Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone2...
Bid $165, if rejected add re-bid zone3...
Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone4...
Bid $175, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE

Bid $180, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

It's always best to start a fresh bid anyway.

So if this happens, just close the browser tab, open BetterBidding, and click the PRICELINE link at the top right of the page, and proceed to the next bid combination.

yea that happened to me as well

It still seems to be happening but I made 6 consecutive bids (increments of $5) trying for a 5* in Paris from October 14th - 17th...from $225 to $250...nothing.

Need to figure out if we are going to bid on a 4*...will post results.
