First bid - $71 (less $5 with a Priceline coupon). Accepted 1st try.

Liason Capitol Hill An Affinia Hotel
Total 3 nights: $237
Great deal! (equivalent to $79/night with taxes)

Will park at Union station $19/night (walking distance) to avoid the $45 parking at the hotel.
Walk to the Mall.

Strategy: Was willing to add other areas if this was rejected (e.g. DC Subarbs and Georgetown north which don't have 4* hotels)
