Priceline Hotel: help with Maine bar Harbor Priceline hotels

I don't see any hotels in Bar Harbor listed in your priceline list but when i choose that area to try and bid on the name your own price web page of priceline it shows 4 hotels are available from two to 3.0 stars - is it because no one ever reported to you on winning bids?

The hotel lists only contain hotels reported to the board, so if no hotels are listed for this area it's because we have not had any hotels reported to the board in this area (or sometimes it could be a newly created PRICELINE zone, created by dividing two previous zones, and we haven't yet updated the hotel list to reflect the new zones... but in this instance it appears that no hotels have been reported). It appears most visiting this area bid the (Bangor-Orono) zone.

If you'd like help with a bidding strategy for this area let us know the dates of your stay, desired star rating, and maximum bid price.

I am looking to go for 2 nites june 23 and 24 but only to bar harbor and not bangor and am looking at the 2.5 to 3 stars and would like to spend not more than $90 as we are nearing high season... (one room 2 adults 2 kids) thanks

With PRICELINE all that is guaranteed is a room which will accommodate double occupancy... after that it is at the discretion of the hotel. You can call the hotel after winning and request a room with 2 beds, but the hotel may not be willing, or able, to accommodate your request (or if they can, there may be an additional charge involved) Is this a risk you're willing to accept?

can u help me to strategize a room in bar harbor for 6.23+6.24 any star (1-4) for max bid of $130?

Did you want to try for a 3* up to your limit first, then if rejected try for a 2.5*, and so-on... or is your goal the least expensive 2* or better for this stay? (2* is the lowest star rating offered in this zone)
