The Entertainment Coupon book has some good coupons that can help save even more on PL and HW rooms. The PL coupon/link will give you $10 Bonus cash per night on up to a weeklong stay (2 night min). The HW coupons will give you $20 and $15 off your total booking, respectively.
The PL offer is one-per-year only, but the HW coupon/web page doesn't say that. And when I emailed HW to ask them about it, they didn't give me a straight answer. So if you have more than one Entertainment Book, you may be able to keep using the coupons. Halfway through the year, you can usually get the EB cheap. In other words, your great deal can probably get even better....

Looking for one person, one night 4/19 - 4/20. Price is $54.
Icons are: shuttle, fitness, business, laundry, internet. Recommended by 70% of travelers. I thought this might be the Holiday Inn (which I don't want), but it is not showing a restaurant or a pool icon, as might be expected. Also - HI does not get very good reviews. Any ideas out there? Thanks for your help.

I could use a hand in ID of this hotel just north of Charlotte. Searching for 2 adults, 2 kids in Huntersville, I find:
2.5* Huntersville $75 Amenities: Suite, Breakfast, Pool, Business, Laundry This may be the Country Inn Suites, (Rack rate $124) but there is also a Candlewood Suites and a few other suite type properties. Hawthorn Suites does not have availability, so I doubt it's that. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

Started low at $50 or so. Bidding history with free rebids:
$50, then $52, then $56, then $60 USW + CC + FW + MAR + SFO-N The $10 Bonus Cash per night came from the Entertainment Book. It's a one time thing - unfortunately can't use it again. Love the location/vibe/workout facility/pool of the Nikko. But I'm sure I'll be put in a small room re: Petite Queen. Rack rate was $214 a night. So not a bad price for a well located 4*!

Should have done this in the first place. After making a mistake in bidding 3.5* (and winning in an area I can't use), I needed to find something reasonable in a North Richmond location.
First I tried bidding for Doswell (near King's Dominion), then went straight to 2.5* in Glen Allen. Bid History: $40 - GA, $45 - GA + Rich South (only rebid zone for 2.5*) Breakfast, fitness room and indoor pool. Reviews are positive. Rack rate is about $99. |
