  2. Aaron Thank you for checking again. My travel buddy is getting ansy to lock in the room but we have some time left. Have you visited Hotel Belleclaire, La Quinta Inn and Suites or Manhattan Club? I am trying to beat the hotel rooms my friend booked on booking.com. Hotel Belleclaire, queen deluxe with a fridge. It was built in 1910! Seems to have good reviews. 9 nights before taxes 1622 pounds or $2190 USA before taxes which is $243 a night before taxes. I like the Manhattan Club idea but they have some crappy inside rooms. 4* Central Park HOTWIRE $274 Free Internet, Suite, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, Internet access, Kitchenette, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom >>>Likely the Manhattan Club
  3. Sorry i missed the part about TWO rooms. Best guess for each: 5* HOTWIRE Mayfair - Piccadilly Circus - Soho for $195.00 Free Internet Boutique Fitness Restaurant Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Childrens Activities ==> Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel 5* HOTWIRE Mayfair - Piccadilly Circus - Soho for $204.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Fitness Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Childrens Activities Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> Sheraton Grand London Park Lane I only gave the above a quick look but if you're looking to move forward with either let me know and i'll investigate further prior to your purchase. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  4. Thanks for closing this thread with your decision. Conferences in Vegas are a double-edge sword... when there is a large conference / convention in town rates can quickly skyrocket, but with so many rooms to accommodate larges conferences, if there is not much going on, you can get 5 star hotels for less than just about anywhere else in the country. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Hope you enjoyed your stay.
  5. On HOTWIRE: 4* Central Park $217 Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access >>>This is likely the Shoreham, up quite a bit. 4* Central Park HOTWIRE $274 Free Internet, Suite, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, Internet access, Kitchenette, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom >>>Likely the Manhattan Club 4* Central Park HOTWIRE $266 Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, Internet access, Children's activities, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom >>>A guess would be the Park Central Would any other zones be acceptable? Rates appear to have either stayed similar or headed higher since last check. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  6. Today
  7. OK One more kick at the can to try to find a better hotel in the Central PARK Region for Oct 7-16th. Any suggestions appreciated
  8. Hi! We are looking for TWO hotel rooms and our total party size is 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids)
  9. I ended up bidding on a 5* in the North Las Vegas strip zone and got 2 rooms at the Wynn at an insane price. I was probably too guilt ridden to post the "win". I bid $274/night. The room total for two room, two nights was $1438. Yikes! Defcon conference was in town and rates were CRAZY.
  10. No problem at all (but do check-out... don't just leave and let them figure it out in the morning)
  11. To confirm, your dates are 3/25-4/1? Are you including 2adults/2children in your search as i'm seeing prices much higher than $203/$204 when searching for 2adults/2children. Also, please close your Las Vegas Hotwire hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Thanks.
  12. 5* Boutique Hotel, London, Mayfair - Piccadilly Circus - Soho area, 3/25/18 x 7 nights; TWO ROOMS :); 2 adults and 2 kids $203 USD/night per room FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Self-service laundry, Internet access, Children's activities 85% Recommend Tripadvisor Reviews 4.5*, 2001+ Reviews I'm having a tough time figuring the above out. I'd love some help. I also have one other I'd consider it is below. I'm guessing it's the Sheraton London Park Lane? 5* Hotel London, Mayfair-Picadilly Circus-Soho 3/25/18 x 7 nights; TWO ROOMS; 2 adults and 2 kids $204 USD/night per room FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Children's activities, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower 90% recommend Tripadvisor Reviews 4*, 489+ reviews
  13. If I don't stay over the third night, but just check out in the early evening, that won't present any problems, will it?
  14. I found the full list of amenities on MY ACCOUNT. Amenities: Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access Accessibility: Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
  15. Congratulations on your his win and thank you for sharing your results with the board. Great to see the 'Bed Choice' option was offered for this property and you're happy with the outcome. I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post, which would not have been seen unless you searched using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases to ensure you're seeing the complete amenity set and for an easy comparison of PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE, as well as to use our new IS THIS A GOOD PRICE feature). Can you please add a reply to this thread confirming the full list of amenities associated with this property (including any accessible amenities)... you can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Thanks! Hope your husband has a great trip.
  16. If possible I would like to keep it under $110 a night for a regular hotel but would spend more...say up to $150 for a Disney property. I previously won the Wyndham Disney Springs and was very happy with that location with being able to walk to the Disney Springs area. I have been looking at that area and the Bonnet Creek area as well. We are there such a short time, I don't want to spend a lot of time driving to and from the parks.
  17. Sorry to hear the hurricane forced cancellation of your previous plans. What is your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes) for this replacement trip? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
  18. Suspected this would be the Motif based on the number of Tripadvisor reviews (301-500). Bed choice was available which was required as I needed to book 2 rooms with 2 queens for my husband's guys trip up to Seattle. Expensive weekend so pleased with the win. Amenities: Business center, Fitness center, Internet access, Pet friendly, Restaurant(s), Smoke-free rooms Accessibility: Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel Used your HOTWIRE link and as always appreciate the advice posted here.
  19. Congratulations on your success! Nice to see you received a good deal at this well reviewed property and that the location works out perfectly for your needs. Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your purchase. Have a great trip!
  20. Not sure why none of the links I pasted in my replies aren't showing up but it was through Caesar's website.
  21. My previous trip went bust due to Irma. I am now looking at 10/19-10/22 for 2 people. Do you see any Disney properties available on these dates? Thanks for your help.
  22. Thanks so much, it is indeed the K+K George Hotel, 4*. Using the BiddingHelper.com link, I booked three nights, (November 17-18--19), at $103/nite, plus taxes/fees totaling $83 for the three nights. I'm really happy about this as the reviews are great, plus it appears to be just steps from the Earl's Court Station, which I understand has an elevator (I'll have 1 small and 1 larger suitcase). Any other information I should post?
  23. I see it thru both the HOTWIRE tab and the EASY VIEW tab at BiddingHelper.com... In the EASY VIEW tab use the zones on the left side of the page to select ONLY Disney Maingate West (if you hover over the zone name you will see a link to the right 'ONLY' which will UNcheck all zones except for that one) and then scroll down and select ONLY 3.5 stars... you will see the original $66/nite property (with a $6 resort fee) as well as a $58/nite property (that has a $17 resort fee which is the one i assume you're referring to immediately above) 3.5* HOTWIRE Disney Maingate West for $66.00 ($6 resort fee) Free Parking Free Internet Condo Smoke Free Fitness Pool Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Kitchenette ==> i agree with AaonJB's guess of the Caribe Cove Resort by Wyndham Vacation Rentals Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
