2 nights in Seattle Mar 7 & 8. In the past, I usually got 4 stars in the Space Needle or Pike Place area. The winning bids were between $70-85. I did that for the past 4 years, same weekend. If I can get 5 stars for $100, I'd do that! Granted, we're going to an all day event (9am - 10pm), so we're not really staying in the hotel that much.

Yes, I'll be going to the Seattle area in March. I was just wondering if anyone successfully bid for a 5 stars in the Seattle area. In the past, the highest stars in the Seattle area (thru PRICELINE Bidding) was only 4 stars.

I just found out Priceline now offers 5 stars hotel in name your own price for the Seattle Pike Place area. Do you know which hotels are these? Thanks.

This cannot be a 5 star hotel. There is no 5 star hotel in Tacoma even if you pay full price! Nothing even close to 4 stars in the Tacoma area.

Stayed here in Jan 18, 2013 for 1 night. The rooms were redecorated (basically, different paint color and wall paper). Great location. Right downtown, across from the Central library. The parking is expensive. Including tax, it's $48.

I used the 5-stars re-bidding strategy, starting at $150 with $5 increase on each re-bid. Got this hotel for $175. Not too much of a saving as you can get the same hotel for about $200-210 at other hotel booking websites. Of course, I used the PRICELINE link from this website to bid.

Stayed for 2 nights at the Pan Pacific. Definitely a 4 star hotel. Facilities and Services: Free wi-fi Coffee maker in the room (NO microwave) 24 hours gym access, including a big co-ed hot tub. The gym is on a separate building across from the hotel. You do have to walk outside (about 15-20 seconds) to get to the gym. Minor inconvenience as Seattle does have a high possibility of raining. Free newspaper. A mini fridge/bar stuffed with drinks for sale. It does have a 'little' personal space for you to use. Room size and comfort I was told the usual Priceline bidding room is a queen-sized-bed room. For $20 upgrade, you could get a bigger room with better view. I got a free upgrade to the King-sized-bed. No complain there. Big bathroom. Soaking tub and a separate glass shower stall. The hotel is very quiet as it is away from the downtown area. Very nice room. Bright and clean. Updated decor. Location and parking It is right on top of Whole Foods. You can walk down the stairs to get there. There is a Starbucks and Bank of America on the street level. Lots of little shops on the street level too. You have free 30 minutes parking in front of the hotel/shops. Lots of street parking available near the hotel. It is further away from downtown so street parking is not a problem. It is still walking distance to downtown (about 15 mins walk)

For 2 nights Room Subtotal: $136.00 Taxes & Fees: $30.38 Total Charged to Card: $166.38 This will be my first time staying at the Pan Pacific. I cannot wait. Of course, I used the PRICELINE link from this Forum to bid. :)

I got the same hotel for the same exact date for $70 at Priceline. I bid on 3 rooms. I used the PRICELINE link above to do the reservation!

We stayed there 5/16-18, 2010. This is a very nice hotel. Everything is well maintained. Even though I booked the hotel thru Priceline, I got an email to ask me for the Omni Select Guest number so that I can get credits for my stay. Since I'm an Omni Select Guest member, I got free drinks delivered to my room every morning for free. I also got free internet access. That is just incredible for downtown SFO 4 stars hotel. I cannot be more pleased.

I'm getting all excited already. I can't wait to be there!

I didn't know I still can do that using Priceline! I'll definitely put down my Omni Select Guest number when I'm checking in.

Used your PRICELINE link to start the bidding and got Omni SF for $105. I used the re-bid zone strategy to start bidding at $80, with $5 increment. A poster here mentioned a big event in SF that week and hotel rooms are tight. I guess $105 is an OK price for a busy week. Now I have to go read the review! :)
