My ideal location would be either "City Centre - Gateshead - Old Town - Quayside" (which is listed as 1 location) OR Jesmond. Both these locations are in Newcastle upon Tyne. I'm not too concerned about * rating. Two of the listed hotels above are 4* and one is 2.5* but got a very high recommendation percentage rating. Budget in US$ would be ~70 - 80$. Thank you very much for trying to help us. We booked the following: Dresden, Germany FC, Restaurant 3.5* 49$ It turns out to be the Ramada. Looks very nice but the location is not great - 7 km from the centre! Oh well, can't always have it all!
