  1. Yes, it was a PRICELINE bidding win, not a PRICELINE EXPRESS purchase.
  2. Hi there, using the PRICELINE link provided by betterbidding I got this deal, which did not match my expectations. But, that´s part of business: we can´t always win...
  3. Hi all! I used the PRICELINE link provided by BB and got this deal. Hope help others! Fernando
  4. Using this useful forum PRICELINE link, I started to bid. This is the exact area we wanted to stay. I started bidding at $ 50, which was half the mean price displayed by PRICELINE. They suggested to arise the offer to $ 70. I tried $ 63 and it worked. I´ve read on previous links that this is not a 4* hotel, but I feel satisfied with all aspects: hotel, location and price.

  10. These seem to be nice options, but I really don't get them when I search. Did you look for 4-pax rooms?
  11. I have a backup on Four Points, 25th street, at US$ 210 per night + tax. Is the Roosevelt better than the FP? Are their rooms bigger than FP? I read a lot about the tiny rooms at Roosevelt, but I wonder if their quadruple rooms are small as well.
  12. Coming back since my party had changed since the last post. Now I have 4 people travelling together and HOTWIRE brought something interesting: 4* Midtown East, US$ 219 per night. The amenities are: Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower Any idea about which hotel is this? Thanks, Fernando
  13. Hi all, Feel free to keep in touch with me about brazilian world cup. As much as possible I believe I can give some advice. Fernando
  14. Hi, Thanks for editing my post. I had some trouble doing it, as you certainly saw. As usual, I used the HOTWIRE link provided to book the hotel. The site is just great to help us all! So far I have always predicted with a good margin all hotels I got from PRICELINE and HOTWIRE, thanks to Betterbidding. Regards
  15. Final price 168.75. 3 adults. Amenities: Free Internet Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower
  16. Hi everyone, Is april considered a peak season for hotels in DC and metro area? I will visit in mid-april (15-17) and I am wondering if this is the best time to use hotwire or can I expect rates to go a little bit lower. Thanks, Fernando
  17. The posted amenities were: Free Breakfast Free Internet Fitness Center Business Center Internet access In-room accessibility Final price was US$ 114.24 As usual, using the HOTWIRE link provided by betterbidding.
  18. Hi, I think that these prices are not a great deal compared with other similar hotels and for which I could be sure what I was going to get. So, no hotwire this time. Tks, Fernando
  19. Yes, I forgot to mention that I am looking for rooms suitable for 3 adults.
  20. Hi, Although I feel already some confidence about revealing which hotels I may get from hotwire, I would like to have some advice about these: City: New York, NY Dates: april 10th to 14th First option: Midtown East Hotel, 4*, US$ 205 per day Amenities: Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower My guess for this one would be the Hilton East. Am I right? Second option: Chelsea Area, 4*, US$ 225 per day Amenities: Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower My guess is the Doubletree, am I correct? Third option: Downtown/SOHO, 3*, US$ 181 per day Amenities: Free Internet Fitness Center Business Center Internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll in shower I would guess it is the Reserve Hotel, but I noticed some people saying it is closed. Thank you, Fernando
  21. Hi! I just got back from Atlanta. The deal was a great cost-benefit relation. As a additional info, I tried to find out a cheaper park around the hotel. I do not recommend anyone to do this. Although expensive, the self-park is the best cost-benefit relation in the area. With in-out privileges, it is very good, although it is a bit long walk to the hotel lobby. Regards, Fernando
  22. Ooops... I am sorry I forgot about the bidding history. I have started at US$ 44 and increased by US$ 1 each bid, until I reached the US$ 49 deal. Hope this helps a little bit more. Fernando
  23. Hi, Using this Betterbidding PRICELINE link, I just got this deal for a family trip. It seems a nice price. Final price, including taxes and fees is US$ 60,08 per room. Atlanta is easy to bid, since it has a lot of freebid areas. Take a chance! Tks, Fernando
  24. Used the PRICELINE link, final price was 71. I tried to extend my nights at the Millenium, but it seems to be full.
  25. I used the PRICELINE link provided at the forum. Final price was 58 with taxes and fees.
