AVOID THE MONTEREY HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!

Mold in the (very tiny) room, hairs in the bathroom, paper-thin walls, a breakfast buffet that consists of stale bagels, donuts, and canned fruit, a listless staff, bawdy décor, street noise, and the list goes on and on and on – this place is truly a DUMP and should be avoided at all costs! I would rather sleep on the beach than spend another night at the Monterey Hotel. Honestly, I would not stay there if they paid me – seriously, it’s that bad! Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere while in Monterey!
