We stayed three nights at that hotel, and over all it was an OK stay. The hotel is right off the US-41 exit for Tualare street and pretty easy to find. We checked in rather late coming over from Las Vegas and received rooms facing the back (away from the street) on the third floor. Hotel has elevators, so getting there with our bags was not a problem. Hotel has mostly outdoor-corridors and is located in a business-area near downtown, parking is free however.

The room itself was pretty basic, with two double beds, dresser with TV and a workdesk with chair. Bathroom was pretty small with open vanity-area and then toilet and bathtub next to it behind a door. Room looked a little worn around the edges, plus the cleaning was only mediocre. The smell was bearable while also this place was sprayed by housekeeping. Also the number of towels was just undadequate: we only got two bath- and one hand-towel even after asking for more - and bathcloth were not available at this hotel. Other LQ's were certainly better than this.

Breakfast in the morning was free, with waffle-machines available and daily changing items. It was a little sparse, however, and not repletished too often so many things were missing frequently.

No high-speed internet at this hotel, but local calls are free. Dialup was not very fast, though. Only one line in the room, so you could not be reached by phone while being online. Also, in one of the three rooms we had, the telefone was not plugged in and the voice mail system did not work.

All in all an OK place, but nothing I would really like to stay again. The Residence Inn in the Pinedale-zone we stayed at last time was much superior...

Greetings - Dirk

Eek, I wouldn't want to stay in a room with outdoor-corridor access on Tulare street. Just MHO. wub.gif
