We had booked this hotel through Hotwire for a pre-cruise stay for one night.

We arrived close to 10:00 AM but were allowed to check in and occupy our room. This was a very nice, good sized room with all the expected bathroom amenities and then some. Much nicer than what we've come to expect in the states.

The hotel is actually located in a suburb of Barcelona but is in a very nice area. We were to tired from our flight to even think about sight seeing. There were plenty of taxi's available in front of the hotel.

The hotel provides two dining options. A cafe and a regular restaurant. The restaurant is open for dinner only and does not open until around 8 PM. Europeans seem to have pretty late dinning habits. We ate in the cafe and the food was wonderful. Be aware that an 8 ounce bottle of Coke can be pretty expensive. In the cafe, it was 3 Euro's and there was no free refills. That's about $3.60 for a small bottle of Coke.

Based on this experience I wouldn't hesitate to book a room in Barcelona through Hotwire again.
