A very disappointing property compared to my stay at the Westport Homestead Suites. The room at this Airport Homestead Suites was not very clean and the place was noisy. When I checked in, there was a fire truck in front of the hotel and its crew was resetting a false alarm. At midnight, the fire alarm went off again, nearly setting off a heart attack.
The immediate area has two other hotels (Embassy Suites and Crowne Plaza). Anything else requires driving.
The room was smallish for a suite. It had a couch; a large dresser; a large closet; iron and board.
The kitchen: full-size fridge, sink, range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. There was a basic set of dishes and silverware for two, and a couple of pans. These were sticky so I didn't use.
The bathroom only had one small soap bar, no shampoo.
Maid service is weekly, with a "refresher" mid-week.
Free parking, local and 800 calls. No breakfast, no paper.
Wireless high-speed Internet is $3.99 per stay. It worked sporadically, so much so that VPN connection to the office was impossible. I let them know and did not get charged for the service.
No additional taxes/fees charged.
I would not want to stay here again, even at $28.
