I have mentioned the Baja Restaurant in Jersey City a few times on this board.

I have negotiated a discount of 10% off your meal for users of BetterBidding that are staying at one of the nearby Jersey City hotels (Hyatt, DoubleTree, Courtyard, Candlewood).

This offer is valid only at their Jersey City location and you must show your room key and mention BetterBidding to receive the discount.

Since this offer is new, please email me ahead of time if you think you may be going and i'll do my best to make sure that everything goes smoothly.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Baja Mexican Restaurant
117 Montgomery Street
Jersey City, NJ 07302
(201) 915-0062

PS- i highly recommend sticking with the "Baja Special" (and ask for all the shrimp to be grilled) or the Steak Fajitas

I notice that your "deal" was worked out quite awhile ago. Is it still offered by Baja? I kinda figured anyone that has the block M in their signature would be a very good source for any information and wouldn't lead a fellow Wolverine astray.

I don't know anyone who has tried it lately... given the time that has lapsed since this was first arranged i wouldn't expect a discount, but you can certainly ask. Even without 10% off "the baja special" is worth the trip (but if you'll be be cruising the following day no place to put the leftovers)

Actually, we may end up just splitting the "special" so there won't be a problem. I'll let you know if they still offer the discount, but it doesn't matter - we go there anyway!
